new constellations

As many of you reading this will know, I’ve been posting poems and occasional stories and photos on this blog since the beginning of September of 2020. I could never have imagined that so many of you would provide a constant stream of support, with emails and comments on how I can improve and praising the things you did enjoy. Writing has always been my passion, and having the ability to share it with all of you makes it even more worthwhile. I am humbled and honoured to be able to experience such an amazing journey and share my love for poetry online.

A few weeks back, I submitted some of my poems to an up and coming online magazine; New Constellations. It was the first time I decided to submit poetry, and was nervous yet doubtful. Then, some days later, I checked my email and saw one with the subject:

“Acceptance Notification from New Constellations.” I am beyond overjoyed to share with you that a poem I wrote, Osmosis, is featured in

A dream come true, a real milestone that could never have been achieved had I not had some very important people by my side:

First and foremost, my parents, and especially my mother for nurturing and supporting my passion, and always providing me with unique opportunities, all the while being my biggest mentor.

My poems would be nothing without the help of Sara Elkamel at Ellipsis Writing. She was the one who sent me submission opportunities and who breathes life into poems with her amazing talent and friendship.

And of course, you, reader, who takes the time to read my scribbles; I am forever grateful. Thank you to everyone, friends, family and simply curious strangers.

Here’s to a beautiful journey, one I hope to share it with each and every one of you.
